Pain Pilot is the app that accompanies a pain research project and the application supplies data to the study in the form of self-assessed pain scores and provides users the ability to track their scores over time. Using these scores, the application helps users schedule their pain medications and provides insights about how well their individual pain plan is working.
Users onboarded into the study will be able to pair their phone with their user profile via a QR code that matches them to their personal pain protocol. After onboarding, users can track when they take certain medications and how many of those medications they end up taking. The application will also ask them to input a pain score of 0-10 and depending on previous scores, will inform the user of how well their progress is going.
Additional features include an area to store the users physician contact information and helpful information about all the medications the application tracks (such as the benefits, risks, external resources, etc).
